Does every dispensary have to become a clinic?
A clinic is one of the four main patient-facing routes described by DTAM. The appropriate route depends on your business, premises, professional coverage and qualifying permissions. Selecting a route here does not establish eligibility.
Is hiring a practitioner enough to convert my shop?
No. Professional coverage and establishment licensing are separate requirements. A clinic or other qualifying establishment also needs the appropriate controlled-herb permission for its cannabis activities.
What will conversion cost, and how long will it take?
That depends on the route, premises work, existing permissions and staffing. Share your starting point so the discussion can address the scope. Confirm fees and timing with the service provider and licensing authority before proceeding.
