How to add a strain product
The Strain product type requires controlled-product details and a certificate of analysis.
- Open Inventory › Products and choose Add product.
- Choose Strain.
- Enter Product name and the required THC, CBD, unit, SKU, barcode, pricing, and tax details.
- Attach the Certificate of analysis.
- Choose Add product.
How to save an incomplete product
Use a draft to preserve work without treating the product as complete.
- Choose the product type and enter the information available.
- Choose Save draft.
- Return to Products and search for the product name.
- Open the record later to complete the missing requirements.
Why a product document is required
PorThorOS applies document requirements by product type before completion.
- Check the document label shown in the product form.
- For Strain, attach the Certificate of analysis.
- For another regulated type, attach the document requested by the form.
- Choose Add product again after the upload finishes.
